DJ Jimmy P. was the Friday DJ at NYC Eagle Nest for seven years. Moving to Fort Lauderdale, he became the DJ at the Fort Lauderdale Eagle and CHAINZ, the former Everglades Bar. For over a decade, he has been involved with many non-profit fundraisers and is co-founder and CEO of Red Hispana Florida, an HIV services organization established in 2004. He is also the founder of EagleRadio.pro internet radio station. He recently DJ'd at various events such as the Latinos en Accion annual awards, Leathermen's Brotherhood 3 Pool Parties, Masked Leather Ball 6, and at ongoing Vitambi Springs campground weekends and the Bears of South Florida; all are based in South Florida.


Soon after moving to the New York area in 1990, Fernando’s passion for music was deeply influenced by his mentors and friends, including Michael Fierman, Phillip Kimball, Robbie Leslie, Sharon White, Randy Bettis, Warren Gluck and Susan Morabito, among others. Fernando has played a number of parties and events in New York such as the Pisces Party at the Ritz, New Music Tea at the Monster, Brunch and Soul at Delicatessen and Begin the Beguine at Hudson Terrace and Jersey City Gay Pride. His eclectic style continues to be requested and heard by many among the NYC house music enthusiasts.
